This Privacy Policy describes how LeafID – Plant Identifier ("LeafID", "the App", "we", "us") — published by Jebrix Apps and Games — collects, uses, and shares information when you use our Android application distributed via Google Play.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
a) Photos you submit for identification
When you photograph a plant (or choose an image from your gallery) and request identification, that image is transmitted over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and processed by our systems together with a trusted third-party cloud AI service provider, acting as our data processor, to identify the plant species or diagnose plant health issues. This is the core function of the App and cannot be performed without transmitting the image.
Photos submitted for identification are not used to train AI models. Our AI processing provider does not retain submitted images after processing, except for temporary logs of up to 30 days used solely for troubleshooting and abuse prevention. We do not store copies of your photos on our own servers.
b) Purchase and subscription information
If you purchase a LeafID Pro subscription, the transaction is processed by Google Play. We use RevenueCat, a subscription management service, to validate purchases and manage your subscription status. RevenueCat receives a pseudonymous app user identifier, purchase history for this App, and device metadata (such as OS version and app version). We do not receive or store your name, email address, or payment card details; Google Play handles all payment processing.

c) Analytics data
We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand how the App is used (for example: screens viewed, features used, and subscription events such as viewing the paywall or starting a trial). Firebase collects device identifiers (such as the Android Advertising ID), device type, OS version, coarse usage data, and general location derived from IP address.

d) Advertising data (free version only)
The free version of LeafID shows ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect your Advertising ID, device information, IP address, and ad interaction data to serve and measure ads, which may include personalized ads where permitted by law.

LeafID Pro subscribers are not shown ads by the App.
e) Information you send us directly
If you contact us (for example, to report a misidentified plant), we receive your email address and the contents of your message.
2. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
- To identify plants and diagnose plant health issues from the photos you submit
- To provide, maintain, and improve the App and the user experience
- To manage subscriptions, unlock Pro features, and restore purchases
- To show and measure advertising in the free version
- To respond to your support requests
3. DATA SHARING
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers described above — Google Play, our cloud AI processing provider, RevenueCat, Google Firebase, and Google AdMob (free version only) — each processing data on our behalf or under their own privacy policies, and where required by law.
4. DATA SECURITY
All data transmitted between the App and our servers is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the data we handle; however, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
5. YOUR RIGHTS AND CHOICES
- Ads personalization: You can reset or delete your Advertising ID and opt out of ads personalization in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads.
- Subscriptions: Manage or cancel anytime in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions. Uninstalling the App does not cancel a subscription.
- Deletion: You may request deletion of data associated with your use of the App by emailing us. We will respond within 30 days.
- Depending on your jurisdiction (including under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, the EU/UK GDPR, or the California CCPA), you may have additional rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. Contact us to exercise them.
6. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
LeafID is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
7. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be reflected here; continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
